Bush has loudly blamed the eating habits of India and China for the global food crisis. We are not starving and that is a bad thing according to Bush. Is the USA out of touch with reality? Or are they simply too dumb to care?

In my Opinion Mr. Bush is out of touch with reality.Middle class of India and China is the only that is serving to their needs may be it in terms of softwares or else.Making such a statement Mr.Bush is not only showing their carelessness to the matter but also showing his ill temperament.
According to President George Bush, India and China are gluttons, but he is far from reality. He should have understood that this global food shortage is not because of the increasing demand by Indians or Chinese but because of lack of efficient management and distribution of food grains over the last few years. He should have been more logical instead, while understanding the current situation and laying emphasis on the efficient use of arable land to produce more of food grains rather than bio-fuel in order to match demand. He should have taken note of the wrong policies adopted by world powers in the quest for preserving and investing in fuel rather than food grains. But by commenting in such manner, he is trying to defend himself and preserve his seat of power ahead of U.S. Presidential elections. Even the statistics have revealed that an average American consumes about 1,046 kg of Grains/year, while an Indian consumes just about 178 kg/year.
Mr. George Bush seems to living in complete utopia! His baseless comments on our surprise us much more than they aggravate us. Does he mean to say that we people eat so much that we have stopped proper distribution of food grains to the rest of the world? How very illogical and mendacious can something like this come from the US president.By such comments he is only exhibiting his I-know-nothing,I-care-nothing attitude. He definitely needs to update his records before making such senseless comments .
well Mr. Bush's comment seriously shows that he is out of sync with the reality. a food crisis wherever it occurs can NEVER be blamed on people's food habits. what can be blamed is insufficient productions and incorrect projections. even in our wildest dreams if we consider the comments to be true, what solution did he have in mind?? a clamp down on eating habits of people?? preventing them from eating?? i guess he should have certainly given at least 10 thoughts before even saying these words!!!
In my opinion not only Mr Bust but any top personality of the world can say this.Actually we are responisble for this big problem.Day by day our population is incresing. And also natural sources are too limited. Then we see concrete jungals everywhere in place of green fields. So,no land is left for growing the crops to feed the uncontroable population. So we will've to search a permanent way to solve the comming another crises in the future.
when each and every country is in pressure of battling against inflation, releasing this insensible statement is ridiculous and shows US is really out of touch with reality.Census shows indians are unable to get enough food to eat and suffers from malnutrition.while,US uses a huge amount of food stuff to produce ethenol and bio-fuels.Moreover,it might be a way to divert the whole issue against the world's fastest growing major economics,India and China.
